Steve McGhee

Born and raised in London Ontario, Canada, Steve McGhee grew up wanting to be a fireman, but as luck would have it, his teachers in Elementary and High School noticed that I had “artistic ability”. One of his teachers, Mr. Webster wrote in his yearbook, “Most likely to be designing cereal boxes”.

After high school, Steve went to Sheridan College in Oakville Ontario to be an Animator.

“Unfortunately, animation is the most mind numbingly boring thing one can do as a profession, and I never really liked the idea of drawing exactly like everyone else in the room. I wanted freedom! Freedom to express myself and also freedom to do really cool stuff.”

Freedom came in the form of a Graphic Design course at George Brown College in Toronto Ontario. He now creates fantastic illustrative and graphic work using Photoshop and the alike; I’ve put up a few examples below...
